The beginning of every NBA year is either akin to a stripping of innocence or a beam of positivity. For the Pelicans first opponent of the year, the latter has been experienced. Going undefeated in the first week of the season which included wins over the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets to unabashedly enjoy.
The Pelicans haven’t been so lucky, or good. Losing three of their first four games and looking like a befuddled operation a majority of the time.
