Despite a lackluster 1-3 start to the season, the Pelicans stars, Anthony Davis and Demarcus Cousins, have looked like themselves thus far. The current problems are not only with the lack of bench production but the play from their $100 million man Jrue Holiday.
Holiday, in just four games, has struggled to say the least on the offensive end. Although it is early in the season, the Pelicans do not have much time to wait for him to heat up, especially in the competitive Western Conference.
Holiday is currently shooting just 34 percent from the field and a lackluster 19 percent from the three-point line, which is unacceptable for a player of his standards.
