Various national sites praise under-the-radar Pelicans offseason moves

There was no big splash, like Kevin Durant going to the Bay Area. There were no flashy names, such as past MVP Derrick Rose and former All-Star center Joakim Noah heading to the Big Apple. Not a single max contact was handed out in free agency – or anything close to one. Still, with NBA player movement mostly in the books this summer, the New Orleans Pelicans have received various national nods of approval for their offseason changes.

The Pelicans allowed the high-scoring combo of Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon to leave in free agency – both signed with Houston – while adding young veterans Solomon Hill, E’Twaun Moore, Langston Galloway and Terrence Jones.
