Tyreke Evans to sit out preseason game on Saturday due to knee soreness

New Orleans Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans will miss Saturday's game against the Sacramento Kings due to knee soreness according to head coach Alvin Gentry. This is the second game so far that Evans has missed during the preseason due to illness; he also missed the preseason opener. In that case Evans and Gentry said he would have played if it was a regular season game.

The sheer volume of injuries this month is unbelievable. Alexis Ajinca, Omer Asik, Quincy Pondexter, Norris Cole, and Luke Babbitt are already out due to injuries.
