According to an article by Sam Amick of USA Today yesterday, Evans stated on opening night of the NBA season that he was looking to return to action in 4 weeks. Flipping through the calendar, that would mean his first game could come against the Phoenix Suns on November 25th, the day before Thanksgiving.
A return in 21 days indicates the Pelicans would have to play in another 11 games without one of their best players. This window includes two games against the Hawks and Mavericks and a number of key one-game matchups including the Thunder and Spurs.
