The hits just keep coming for both the New Orleans Pelicans and their fans. A few days ago, we learned about Tyreke Evans‘ injury and it was hinted at on social media that he may indeed require surgery. Fans’ fears were confirmed this afternoon with the announcement that Tyreke Evans had undergone a successful arthroscopic procedure on his right knee.

It seems the Pelicans can’t catch a break heading into this season and will be without Evans, Omer Asik, Quincy Pondexter and Alexis Ajinca on opening night.
