Out of all the injuries that have plagued the New Orleans Pelicans this season, none has had as big of an impact as the loss of Tyreke Evans to knee surgery shortly before the start of the regular season. With Jrue Holiday on a minutes restriction and an ankle injury to fellow point guard Norris Cole, the Pelicans were left without any real depth at the position and without one of their best three players as Evans sat on the bench.
Luckily for New Orleans, Evans seems confident that in just a week he could be back on the floor based on recent workouts and the healing process, and he shared those thoughts with reporters at practice today.
