The upcoming NBA Draft is an incredibly important one for the New Orleans Pelicans, and two players the team might consider selecting are still showcasing their talents late into the 2019 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Texas Tech’s freshman guard Jarrett Culver and Virginia’s sophomore wing De’Andre Hunter could both still be on the board when the Pelicans make their first selection.
Both of these players are projected to be selected in the Top 10 of the NBA Draft by most accounts. Culver typically is seen as being the higher pick of the two, likely going anywhere from fourth to sixth or seventh.
