HOUSTON – The New Orleans media contingent thought he was joking, but Tim Frazier told reporters Thursday that even though he was projected to be out 7-10 days, if it was up to him he’d be back on the court immediately. As it turns out, Frazier ended up only sitting out Thursday’s game vs. Indiana due to a right wrist injury, but he’ll be in uniform Friday against the Houston Rockets, his hometown NBA team. So much for the timeframe of a week-plus.
“He’s going to play tonight,” Pelicans Coach Alvin Gentry said. “After the MRI, he said ‘I’m playing in Houston.
