There was a time not too long ago that Anthony Davis was not a top three player in the NBA. After a solid rookie year, Davis was still looked at as a potentially great player coming into his second season and during that year he started to make his leap into elite status.
Perhaps no game exemplified that more than 40 point, 21 rebound game against the Boston Celtics in March of 2014. Davis showed off a bit of everything in the game, hitting mid-range jumpers both off the catch and dribble, running the floor for easy layups and dunks, rolling down the lane in the pick-and-roll and more as he proved completely unstoppable for the Celtics roster of big men.
