Fans of the New Orleans Pelicans and the Pelicans themselves didn’t expect it to go like this. A week and two days into the new season and the Pelicans sit at a record of 0-4. In a conference where literally every game matters (remember, the Pelicans only made the playoffs because of a buzzer beater in Oklahoma and a win on the last night of the season last year), that is a problem.
Anthony Davis has not looked like himself, and it’s been expanded upon at length multiple times over. One Pelican has stepped up, though.
