A person’s anticipation reaches its peak as a child. Birthdays, vacations, and holidays are all events that used to make the body vibrate with excitement in the weeks before.
Unfortunately, like most things, the product of that anticipation was often less rewarding than the anticipation itself. All the best outcomes amalgamating in your heard before the event actually occurred. Then, when it got there, it could be something totally different than what you expected.
Sports are often like this. The weeks before seasons start, fans start buzzing with excitement only to feel disappointed when the actual season arrives.
