This wasn’t supposed to happen. The New Orleans Pelicans were supposed to improve this season after making the playoffs in their last campaign by hiring one of the most sought-after coaches on the market and locking down Anthony Davis for the foreseeable future. Instead, the Pelicans find themselves at 6-18 with barely any positive signs to give fans hope. The trade rumors have been abound as of late. Ryan Anderson, Eric Gordon, Omer Asik and probably every player not named Anthony Davis could see themselves traded at any moment.
While it is all well and good to decide to shake things up, the Pelicans need a plan, something many have always felt to be absent from the Pelicans’ decision making process.
