The New Orleans Pelicans have been absolutely ravaged by injuries this season, and the trend continued as two of the few remaining contributors went down on Monday night against the New York Knicks. In addition to that, fans were given more information about Ryan Anderson‘s mysterious groin injury. To fill the void left by the injured players, the Pelicans called up yet another player from the D-League to keep the team afloat.
Starting with probably the least awful news, Ryan Anderson was diagnosed with a sports hernia, per Brett Dawson of the New Orleans Advocate, and he has not yet been shut down for the season (emphasis on the word yet).
