The New Orleans Pelicans celebrated the holiday weekend with sound beatings of the Orlando Magic and Miami Heat.
The Pelicans were led by the Big Three, who deposited 70 points and several jaw-dropping highlights, against a greatly depleted Magic roster missing Evan Fournier, Aaron Gordon, Jonathan Isaac, and Terrence Ross.
However, the bench propelled the Pels over the Heat, scoring 43 points which included Ian Clark’s game-leading 19. That helped New Orleans outpace Miami who were also woefully represented without Dion Waiters, Hassan Whiteside, Rodney McGruder and Justise Winslow.
