Following consecutive wins, the New Orleans Pelicans have reached the .500 mark for the first time since the 2014-15 season. Although it’s been only six games, the team is showing signs of possessing a more complete roster than many gave them credit for prior to the start of the regular season schedule.
Jameer Nelson has been a god send. Without his addition, New Orleans might have began a woeful 0-5. His 18 points, including a quick 11 in the first quarter against Sacramento, helped the Pelicans overcome a sidelined Anthony Davis and temper the Kings blazing hot start.
