Tomorrow night, the New Orleans Pelicans and their home faithful will finally get the chance to witness the NBA debut of highly anticipated rookie Zion Williamson.
Though Zion has been held back following a preseason meniscus tear, the rookie is set to throw down dunks tomorrow against the last team he faced in the preseason, the San Antonio Spurs.
In that preseason victory, Zion posted 22 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and shot 8-of-11 from the floor.
According to the team’s Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations, David Griffin went pretty well with Zion’s rehab process and the team is excited about his health in the long run.
