The New Orleans Pelicans lost a 112-111 heartbreaker to the Phoenix Suns in overtime at the Blender on Friday night for the team’s six straight loss to start the season.
At the end of the day, missing 13 of 28 free throws came back to bite the Pelicans in the rear, hard. Despite the frightful performance from the charity stripe, however, New Orleans had a chance to win the game with 8.6 seconds remaining. All they needed was one more defensive stop.
Unfortunately, this is what transpired.
No matter what, Solomon Hill cannot allow himself to get burned on a backdoor cut because look at how well the floor is spread when the pass is made.
