ORLANDO – It’s certainly not set in stone that it will serve as the starting five next week when New Orleans tips off the regular season vs. Denver, but in the Pelicans’ preseason finale tonight, the first unit will consist of guards Tim Frazier and E’Twaun Moore, forwards Solomon Hill and Anthony Davis, as well as center Omer Asik.
“They play well together, and for the second group, it fits better,” said Pelicans second-year head coach Alvin Gentry of aligning his players as starters and reserves. “You try to have a situation where all the components work together.
