Should the New Orleans Pelicans start E’Twaun Moore at small forward?

With the loss of Solomon Hill for six to eight months, should the New Orleans Pelicans look inward to one of their own players to take his place? Many are saying E’Twaun Moore could be the solution.

For the 2016-17 season, E’Twaun Moore averaged 9.6 PPG, 2.1 RPG, and 2.2 AST while shooting an effective 45.7% from the field. These are pretty decent numbers for him. He started 22 out 73 games as well, showing that he’s capable of being durable over the course of a long season.

For the majority of last season, Moore played at the shooting guard position rather than small forward.
