Last summer, Elfrid Payton signed a 1-year free agent contract with the New Orleans Pelicans. Before joining the Pelicans, Payton played four seasons with the Orlando Magic. He was then traded to the Phoenix Suns where he stayed for a short stint before signing with New Orleans.
Payton is the ideal point guard; one who is very good at finding the open man and setting up his teammates.
