Preseason basketball for the New Orleans Pelicans is a month away.
The Pels will play the Dallas Mavericks on October 1st in Louisiana. That means the team only has 30 days to prepare for their first official game of the 2016-2017 season.
Before that happens, decisions need to be made.
New Orleans is still working out players and fielding free agents before training camp begins. Lance Stephenson has worked out for the team recently, with rumored interest in Stephen Jackson surfacing as well.
The past few months have been about possibilities.
