Season in Review 2015-16: Kendrick Perkins

Related Topics: Kendrick Perkins, Toney Douglas

Pelicans.com continues its look back at the 2015-16 season with player-by-player analysis of the team:

2015-16 OVERVIEW
More than a decade deep into his NBA career, Kendrick Perkins was an anomaly on the New Orleans roster, as the only player in his 30s when the season began (Toney Douglas joined the 30-something club March 16). Perkins also led the Pelicans in postseason experience by a wide margin, having won a league championship in 2008 and appearing in the NBA Finals with each of his three previous clubs (Boston, Oklahoma City and Cleveland).

Perkins’ biggest contributions for much of 2015-16 came in the locker room and the practice gym, where he earned praise from Alvin Gentry and the coaching staff for his veteran presence.
