As much as injuries have been the dominant story of this New Orleans Pelicans season, they had rarely affected Ryan Anderson, who appeared in 66 of the team’s first 68 games. After sustaining a groin injury, however, Anderson will miss his second straight game tonight vs. Miami.
Unlike five of his teammates, Anderson has not been shut down for the season, with the Pelicans currently determining how long the power forward will be sidelined. After tonight’s game, New Orleans (26-43) only has a dozen games remaining.
“We don’t know yet,” Alvin Gentry said during pregame Tuesday. “We’re still trying to figure that out.
