New Orleans Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry was a guest on Tuesday's "Dunc & Holder" Show on NOLA.com and mentioned he already has a plan regarding his starting backcourt when the 2017-18 regular season tips off in mid-October. Newly signed Rajon Rondo will start at point guard and Jrue Holiday will shift to shooting guard.
"(Starting Rondo and Holiday) is the idea right now," Gentry said. "I like Jrue off the ball to start the game as a scorer. I like Rondo being on the floor as a leader.
