So far the news on the New Orleans Pelicans and their search for a new head coach has been fairly quiet.
There was a report that Alvin Gentry interviewed for the job on Monday, that John Calipari was and then wasn’t interested yesterday and some news that Tom Thibodeau may not be a candidate because the Pelicans are unwilling to give up the compensation that will be needed to get him. Now according to Adrian Wojnarowski, another name has dropped out of the search as Scott Brooks is reportedly going to sit out next season instead of interviewing with the Pelicans and Denver Nuggets.
