When the New Orleans Pelicans released Toney Douglas earlier this month it created a hole on the roster for a fifth guard. While New Orleans doesn’t necessarily have to fill that spot right away, going into the season with some depth at the position seems likely thanks to the injury history of Jrue Holiday and Eric Gordon.
According to a report from Mark Berman a TV reporter out of Houston, the Pelicans may have found a player to fill the spot as they have offered veteran guard Jason Terry a contract.
