Postgame: Wizards 107, Pelicans 94

Wizards (27-20), Pelicans (19-29)

Sunday’s home game against Washington was a lot like New Orleans’ six-game homestand in general, filled with highs and lows, many unpredictable and unexpected. The Wizards built a big early lead that eventually expanded to 17 in the second half, before the Pelicans took a brief and small edge themselves. As soon as things started looking favorable for the hosts, however, Washington regained command, responding with a series of big shots that reversed the momentum.

New Orleans concluded its longest homestand of the regular season with a 3-3 mark, highlighted by wins over Cleveland and San Antonio, but the Pelicans also fell to Brooklyn.
