Warriors (60-6), Pelicans (24-42)
OAKLAND – New Orleans was competitive for a quarter and change of Monday’s visit to raucous Oracle Arena, but the Pelicans couldn’t keep up with the history-chasing Warriors. The visitors led 42-40 at one stage of the second quarter and were still within striking distance at halftime, down 59-50, but Golden State turned it on from there and put it out of reach. In improving to 31-0 at home this season and posting a 49th consecutive victory on their home floor dating back to 2014-15, the Warriors dominated the third quarter 35-19, building a 25-point advantage.
