PORTLAND – The names on the backs of the jerseys of New Orleans’ opponents changed drastically in terms of star power, but during Portland’s season opener Wednesday, the Trail Blazers played a lot like the Golden State team that defeated New Orleans 24 hours earlier, by an almost identical score. Picked to finish at or near the bottom of the Western Conference by virtually everyone, Portland came out determined to show otherwise, building a 25-point lead by the end of the first quarter. That advantage grew to 30 in the second half.
