Suns (2-4), Pelicans (0-6)
While playing competitively in all but one game during a winless start to the season, New Orleans has experienced the gamut of frustration in its inability to post a victory. From that standpoint, Friday’s defeat to Phoenix was just about as bitter a loss as an NBA team can experience in game No. 6 of an 82-game season.
Despite leading in the final seconds of both the fourth quarter and overtime, the Pelicans could not close out the Suns, who used heroics from Devin Booker and T.J. Warren to post a thrilling victory.
