Postgame: Raptors 94, Pelicans 87

Raptors (38-26), Pelicans (25-40)

Toronto began Wednesday’s game without All-Star guard Kyle Lowry, who’s been sidelined since the All-Star break due to injury. By halftime Wednesday, New Orleans had lost one of its pair of All-Stars, Anthony Davis, to a left wrist contusion.

Davis’ exit was a turning point in the interconference matchup, with the Raptors turning a one-point halftime deficit into a 10-point lead and eventual road victory. The fifth-year pro fell hard on an offensive play near the end of the second quarter, remained in the game briefly, but then did not return after the halftime break.
