Raptors (30-19), Pelicans (19-30)
TORONTO – Toronto didn’t have All-Star guard DeMar DeRozan due to a sore ankle, but fellow Raptors All-Star backcourt performer Kyle Lowry was available and in uniform. That proved pivotal for Toronto on Tuesday, as the Raptors pulled out a dramatic win over New Orleans, with Lowry playing an immense role. Lowry piled up 33 points, none more important than a difficult fadeaway jumper he drained with 4.3 seconds to go in extra time. That clutch score held up as the game-winner, after New Orleans tried to win with a three-pointer but came up short on the attempt.
