Postgame: Pelicans 95, Grizzlies 84

Pelicans (30-41), Grizzlies (40-31)

Whether it was aggressive post-ups deep in the paint, slick drives to the rim by a center who should be too big to pull them off, or accurate three-point shooting, DeMarcus Cousins was near unstoppable Tuesday, playing hands-down his best game since joining New Orleans via a trade last month. The result was a nearly unprecedented 41-point, 17-rebound, five-trey game for Cousins, only the second such stat line in the NBA since 1983-84 (Kevin Love had the other in 2010). Even better, for New Orleans it meant a 3-0 sweep of a homestand at a time when every game is critical.
