Pelicans (8-17), Suns (7-17)
PHOENIX – New Orleans’ two best players were back in action Sunday, but neither produced at their normally high level for much of the night. That is, until they were needed most in overtime. Jrue Holiday sank four crucial free throws and Anthony Davis blocked a potential game-tying three-point attempt by Phoenix’s Devin Booker, helping New Orleans seal a dramatic, come-from-behind victory. Riding quality bench performances from several reserves, New Orleans rallied from down 15 points in the second half to win.
IT WAS OVER WHEN…
Phoenix’s Jared Dudley sank a deep three-pointer at the buzzer, but the Suns were down by four points prior to the make.
