Postgame: Pelicans 104, Jazz 94

Pelicans (7-18), Jazz (10-14)

SALT LAKE CITY – After two previous games on their current road trip ended in narrow four-point defeats, this time the New Orleans Pelicans were the team making more big plays down the stretch of a tight matchup. The result was a much-needed road victory, the Pelicans’ second of the season, against a Jazz team that entered Wednesday tied for eighth place in the Western Conference. In a back-and-forth affair, neither team was able to grab control until the final minutes, when New Orleans used big baskets by the likes of Jrue Holiday, Tyreke Evans and Ryan Anderson to win by 10, its biggest edge on the scoreboard all evening.
