The New Orleans Pelicans and Miami Heat put on a display last night.
Unfortunately it was mainly a display of bad basketball.
The struggling Heat (10-21) came into New Orleans having played a game the previous night against the Los Angeles Lakers. A home game against a bad team on a SEGABABA should equate to victory for the Pelicans.
Unfortunately that outcome was a lot harder to come by than it should have been. Neither team displayed any sort of consistent offense, as each went on drastic scoring lulls. The game was decided by runs, and the Pelicans were able to get on the last of these runs, to avoid what would have been an embarrassing loss.
