The New Orleans Pelicans were always going to have an up and down year. Their questionable depth, stars that don’t fit the mold, and coaching issues made that evident from before the year even began. What fans probably weren’t expecting was the whoops like consistency in which those up and downs would occur.
Every game is a potentially drastically different team from the one seen previously, with the same turnover issues. This week, the Pelicans got blown out and gave up 146 points to the Denver Nuggets but then shut down the Oklahoma City Thunder for three quarters in a very important win.
