Pelicans Unveil Pride Uniforms in Celebration of the Spirit of Mardi Gras

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Pelicans unveiled their Mardi Gras-themed “Pride” uniforms to be worn during the 2015-16 season today in a celebration at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans, La. The event featured Pelicans players Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday, Ryan Anderson and Quincy Pondexter, as well as the team’s unique character and Mardi Gras-staple, the King Cake Baby, and several Pelicans super fans.

In addition to unveiling the uniforms, in partnership with the Pelicans, adidas announced its $25,000 donation to Pro Bono Publico, the charitable component of the Rex Organization and will also donate $25,000 worth of shoes to the Krewe of Zulu for its annual bike giveaway.
