As expected, today's big announcement by the New Orleans Pelicans organization was to unveil their new Mardi Gras uniforms. Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday, Ryan Anderson and Quincy Pondexter all modeled the newest items to their on-the-court wardrobe.

The Pelicans haven't worn a special uniform celebrating Mardi Gras since the 2012-13 season, the final year of the New Orleans Hornets moniker.
The best part of the proceedings, though, may have not been the actually uniforms, but rather some quotes that followed.
