Pelicans Sign Anthony Brown

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that the team has signed guard/forward Anthony Brown. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Brown, 6-7, 211, most recently played for the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League after being selected by the club with the first overall pick in the 2016 NBA D-League Draft. Brown appeared in three games for Erie, averaging 29.3 points on .558 shooting from the field, including .650 from three-point range, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 41.5 minutes per game. Brown’s signing from the D-League marks the third GATORADE Call-Up of the season.
