PHOENIX – Of New Orleans’ seven regular season victories to date, two of them came vs. Phoenix over a three-day span in November, part of a three-game winning streak that began with a Nov. 20 national TV triumph over San Antonio. The Pelicans (7-18) are back on ESPN’s airwaves again tonight to face the Suns, but the pair of Western Conference clubs don’t quite look the same as they did in the prior two meetings.
“I think we are a better team actually than we were when we played them,” said Pelicans Coach Alvin Gentry, whose club is 3-3 since a lineup change that moved Jrue Holiday to a reserve role.
