DENVER – E’Twaun Moore was born in 1989, so some of his earliest memories of watching the NBA on Christmas Day are from the late 1990s and early 2000s. Like many New Orleans Pelicans players Wednesday, actually getting to perform on this national stage is a unique experience, with Moore’s previous Dec. 25 NBA appearances consisting of logging four seconds of a game as a Boston rookie in 2011, as well as 14 minutes in 2014 while playing for Chicago. He’s looking forward to being on one of the 10 teams competing today.
“It’s always exciting. I remember as a kid growing up, always watching the Christmas Day games, Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, all those guys,” Moore said.
