The NBA Draft Lottery last night was one of the most exciting ones ever, thanks largely in part to the New Orleans Pelicans leaping all the way from the 7th projected pick to the #1 overall selection. But the Pelicans weren’t the only team that had some good luck. The Los Angeles Lakers moved 7 positions themselves to score the #4 overall pick, adding more fuel to the Anthony Davis/Pelicans rumors fire.
Without a doubt, the New Orleans Pelicans will now select Zion Williamson with their top pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. While Zion would be incredible next to Anthony Davis, the belief is that AD will still want out of town regardless of this amazing turn of events in the lottery.
