However, the fourth quarter went differently as expected, and the Pelicans dominated the Utah Jazz down the stretch. A number of players came up big, including the player of the defense, as New Orleans closed out the game on a 17-5 run. That's right, Utah scored a mere 5 points in the final 7:21 of the game.
Throughout the first half, the game remained neck and neck, but the Jazz started to pull away from the Pelicans, leading by as much as 8 points.
