De’Andre Hunter, sophomore guard out of the University of Virginia, is widely regarded as a Top 10 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. With the New Orleans Pelicans all but guaranteed to select around ninth or better, Hunter is right around the sweet spot in draft projections to potentially be a Pelican next fall.
Last night in the NCAA Men’s college basketball championship game, De’Andre Hunter and his Virginia Cavaliers come out on top in overtime against Jarrett Culver and the Texas Tech Red Raiders to the final score of 85 to 77.
In this game, De’Andre Hunter was really able to showcase why so many people have him near the top of their draft boards.
