The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that Crescent City native Todd Graffagnini has been named the team’s new radio play-by-play announcer.
“I cannot tell you how honored, proud and excited I am to usher in this new era of Pelicans basketball to the entire community of New Orleans, the Gulf South and our loyal fans around the world,” said Graffagnini. “I would like to thank Mrs. Benson, Dennis Lauscha and Greg Bensel for giving me this extraordinary opportunity in my hometown. I would also like to thank the Tulane Athletics administration, head coaches, staff and student-athletes that I’ve had the pleasure of working with for the last 27 years.
