Pelicans melt down in the third quarter, fall again in Utah

A fun start, and another frustrating finish. Give the New Orleans Pelicans this, they are consistent. Once again, a strong start was wasted as the Pels allowed a massive run in the third quarter as the Utah Jazz put the game out of reach and held the Pelicans off in the fourth quarter for a win by a 129-118 margin. Stan Van Gundy even racked up two technical fouls and only the second ejection of his NBA career.

To say the Pelicans started the first quarter fast would be a massive understatement. They scored 9 fast break points and shot behind the arc like a team possessed.
