Jrue Holiday is officially shut down for the season as the New Orleans Pelicans’ shooting guard went under the knife yesterday to repair the strained lower abdominal muscle he’s been dealing with since early March. With an Anthony Davis trade likely coming this summer, this ends the era of Jrue and AD leading the Pelicans.
Jrue Holiday Medical Update:
Holiday underwent successful surgery this morning to repair a core muscle injury.
Dr. William Meyers performed the surgery in Philadelphia.
