Heading into the final stages of the offseason, the New Orleans Pelicans have one open roster spot. With this final roster spot, the Pelicans are likely looking for a veteran presence, shooting, and someone they can get on the minimum.
Some of the leading candidates are Malcolm Brogdon and Amir Coffey. Both guys bring positional size and versatility, as Coffey at 6'8" can play the two through small ball five, and Brogdon at 6'4" can play the one through three in some three guard lineups. Both guys are good floor spacers and could be effective in both larger roles and lesser roles.
